    Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

How do I store leftover spinach dip?

Put your leftover dip in an airtight container and place it in the fridge. It should last up for at least 3 or 4 days. Do not leave it on the counter at room temperature because the sour cream will spoil. Do not put it in the freezer because it will separate once it thaws and will ruin the texture.

    • Quick finger foods like pita chips, bread pieces, and tortilla chips.
    • Make a spinach dip bread bowl instead of putting it in a regular bowl. Take a round loaf of bread, cut the top off and gut the inside, then fill it up with the spinach dip.

How can I make a healthier, lighter spinach dip recipe?

Most of the calories will come from the sour cream and then the mayo. So we will need to find substitutions for these ingredients. Nonfat plain Greek yogurt is a great way to replace the sour cream by adding more protein and taking away some of the fat while keeping the flavor similar. For the mayo, just use light mayonnaise instead of regular.
