In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried rosemary, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
1/2 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 3 teaspoon salt, 1 & 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder, 2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, 1 teaspoon black pepper
Add the chicken breast cubes to the marinade and toss to coat them evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the chicken to marinate. You can marinate it for up to a few hours for a stronger flavor.
2 pounds boneless
While the chicken is marinating soak the wooden skewers in water to prevent them from burning while you grill your chicken.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or prepare a grill pan on your stovetop.
Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers carefully.
Grill the chicken skewers for about 5-7 minutes per side or until they are fully cooked and have nice grill marks. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F. Remove the chicken skewers from the heat and allow them to cool down for a few minutes.
Serve your chicken skewers with your favorite dipping sauce, a side salad, or some grilled vegetables.
