Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the bacon until crispy then set it aside on a wire rack to cool down.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook in the bacon grease until they are soft and caramelized about 7-9 minutes. Remove the onions and set aside.
1/2 large sweet onion
in a large bowl mix the ground beef with the salt and pepper then divide it into 9 equal portions and shape them into mini patties.
Cook the patties in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. When done but still warm top them with a little piece of American cheese to allow them to melt

Assemble the sliders by spreading some ranch on the bottom of the mini slider buns then top with the grilled onions, the bacon (broken into 2-3 to fit the bottom of the bun), the patty, an extra drizzle of ranch then the top bun.
