Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond milk unsweetened, or nonfat milk
  • 1 shot of espresso or 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 banana frozen
  • 1/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop unflavored collagen for extra protein, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Honey optional, to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, add the almond milk, espresso or coffee, unsweetened cocoa powder, almond butter, vanilla yogurt, protein powder, banana, collagen, vanilla extract, and ice cubes and blend until smooth and creamy. If needed, you can adjust the consistency by adding more almond milk or ice cubes.
    1 cup almond milk, 1 shot of espresso, 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 2 tablespoons chocolate protein powder, 1/2 banana, 1/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt, 1 scoop unflavored collagen, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 cup ice cubes
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or cocoa flavor according to your preference by adding more honey or cocoa powder.
  • Once blended to your liking, pour the almond mocha smoothie into a glass. If desired, you can top it with whipped cream and sprinkle a little cocoa powder or drizzle some chocolate syrup over the cream.
