This Chili's queso recipe is the original one you are used to getting at the restaurant chain. It i creamy, perfectly spiced, and will be a great addition to your next party or get-together!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 15 oz Can beanless chili I like the Hormel brand
  • 1 cup half and half or whole milk
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoon paprika use smoked paprika if you prefer
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or less for a less spicy dip
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a large saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, mix the cubed Velveeta cheese, canned beanless chili, half and half, paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, lime juice
    16 oz Velveeta cheese, 15 oz Can beanless chili, 1 cup half and half, 1 & 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1 & 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • Warm the mixture over medium-low heat on the stovetop, stirring often, until the cheese is melted and the dip is smooth. Alternatively, microwave in short intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Transfer the melted queso to a serving bowl and serve with salsa and tortilla chips.
