Ingredients
  

Iced Ingredients:

  • 1-2 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1-2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 cup cold milk any kind: dairy, almond, oat, etc.
  • 1-2 tbsp simple syrup optional, to taste
  • Ice cubes

Hot Matcha Latte Ingredients:

  • 1-2 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 cup hot milk any kind
  • 1-2 tsp simple syrup optional, to taste

Instructions
 

Iced Instructions:

  • In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until it dissolves and becomes smooth (you can use a bamboo whisk or a regular whisk).
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the cold milk into the glass.
  • Add the matcha mixture to the milk and stir well to combine.
  • Sweeten with honey or simple syrup if desired. Stir again.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Hot Instructions:

  • Whisk the matcha powder with hot water until it forms a smooth paste.
  • Heat the milk in a saucepan or using a milk frother until it is hot and frothy (but not boiling).
  • Pour the hot milk into a mug.
  • Stir in the matcha mixture.
  • Sweeten with honey or another sweetener if desired.
