Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked coarse black pepper
  • Pinch of salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth and well combined.
½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and a small pinch of salt. Stir until all the seasonings are evenly distributed.
¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon freshly cracked coarse black pepper, Pinch of salt
  • Taste and add a little more black pepper if you want it extra bold (Cane’s sauce has a strong peppery kick).
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. This resting time allows the flavors to meld and the pepper to really shine, making it taste much closer to the real deal.
  • Use as a dip for chicken tenders, fries, or anything you’d normally dunk in Cane’s Sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

Helpful Tip: The sauce will taste even better if you make it the night before, since the pepper and Worcestershire get stronger with time.
