- 1/4 cup butter salted or unsalted
- 1 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- a pinch ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Peel, core, and slice the apples.
