This easy Applebee’s Beer Cheese Dip copycat is rich, creamy, and packed with cheddar, Colby Jack, garlic, and a splash of pale ale. It comes together in minutes and makes the perfect appetizer for parties, holidays, and game day snacking.
Slowly add in the beer and the milk while whisking to allow the mixture to thicken. Stir in the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, onion powder, and hot sauce
1/2 cup Blue moon beer, 1/2 cup milk, 1 garlic cloves, 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon hot sauce, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Stir constantly until it thickens. This can take up to 5 minutes. You will notice the mixture becoming thicker as you stir.
Remove the pan from the heat and gradually add the shredded cheddar and Colby jack cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. Taste and add salt and black pepper to taste.
1 & 1/3 cup Colby jack cheese, 1 & 1/3 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, Salt and pepper to taste
Transfer to a bowl and Serve the dip warm with tortilla chips or pretzels.
