Chick-fil-a seems to only release this item on the menu for a limited time during the months of the fall season. It first time came out as one of the test products for new items at select restaurants during the fall of 2020, and it was such a success that they took it nationwide across the United States.
To everyone's dismay, the restaurant continuously removes the mocha cream cold brew by the end of the year and makes everyone wait several months until it's available again.
Well, fret no more! For this reason, we have created an exact replica of this elusive beverage so that we may all enjoy it year-round!

What Do I Need to Make This Mocha Cream Cold Brew Coffee?
Ingredients:
Cold Brewed Coffee: This recipe calls for cold brew coffee specifically. Cold brew has less acidity and more milligrams of caffeine than regular coffee. You could make your own cold brew and get it from the store. You could also use instant coffee or coffee concentrate mixed with water if you're in a hurry.
Chocolate Syrup: There are a multitude of chocolate brands you could use. The higher the quality, the better the flavor. Some of our favorite brands of chocolate sauce are Ghirardelli, Torani, and Monin.
Half-and-Half: We feel that half-and-half has the perfect fat content to make this creamy without overdoing it. For a healthier option, you could use whole milk. For a creamier beverage, use heavy cream, just know that this is part of the high-calorie ingredients.
Vanilla Extract: In most chocolate-flavored foods and beverages, a small amount of vanilla flavor is almost always added to enhance the chocolate flavor. Just a little baking tip to keep in mind the next time you make a chocolate fudge brownie.
Powdered Sugar: This is what we prefer for this recipe, but you can use regular cane sugar if you like.
Ice Cubes: Chick-Fil-A uses nugget ice, which they are so popular for!
Equipment:
- Measuring Cup
- Glass Cup
- Stirring Spoon or Straw

How Do I Make Cold Brew at Home?
The easiest way to make cold brew at home is with a French press. If you don't have one, you'll have to use a mason jar, a sieve, and a coffee filter.
Note: the recipe for cold brew is an equal ratio of ounces of coffee grounds to cups of water.
Start by measuring out a couple of ounces of grounded arabica coffee beans and putting them in a jar or French press. Next, pour in an equal number of cups of cold water to match how many ounces of coffee beans you used. Put the lid on the jar or French press and store in the fridge for 12-24 hours for a stronger brew.
If you have a French press, simply take it out of the fridge, press the coffee grounds down, and pour in your glass. If you're using a mason jar, pull out a second jar or cup. Then put a sieve on top of it, and a coffee filter over the sieve. Slowly pour the coffee from one jar to another and allow the liquid to pass through the filter. Be careful not to overflow the filter and have it spill out the sides.
